The perfect machine for perfect layer winding. Originally developed for square wire winding, the spindle is mounted on the winding traverse and passes by the fixed wire guide. This gives maximum stability for both the component and the wire.

The special patented wire guide system maintains perfect control of the wire, and most importantly for square wire, prevents any twisting. The guide automatically moves clear of any bobbin flange and reverses the wire control direction at the end of a layer.

On-line programming system makes it easy to enter winding specifications. Winding pitch, width and speed can be set to change during the winding and pitch or progressive winding types can be entered.

The wire feeding system maintains a constant tension on the winding wire by controlling the supply spool speed using the feedback system of the wire tensioning unit.

Any twisting of the wire is prevented as the supply spool is rotated. This also makes this system excellent for winding other materials such as fibre optic line or fishing line and can be used with other models of TNK machines such as the AX2 single spindle.
